Botta Music - Website


Music band website design and creative

The Solution

The laurel branch is an important personal and symbolic element for Botta's singer and songwriter Daniel Gomez. I used this icon as a starting point for the design, and later combined it with visual elements of traditional songwriting such as ink, paper, and the old-school audio player. From here, everything grows with it and from it. [This project was developed while I was Sr Designer at Tasty Concepts Design Studio.]

I collaborated with with marketers and copywriters to create a series of offer-driven emails, which would go on three consecutive days (Weekend series). They would go to previous buyers, so the recipients are already familiar with the brand and it's products. The use of inspirational lifestyle imagery reflecting our target audience, serves as a vehicle for self identification for the user. The layout varies every day to avoid visual exhaustion. The design accentuates the savings and benefits of free shipping. This would inspire the user to act now as the sense of urgency visually increments on each consecutive email.

Talenti Gelato e Sorbetto Website

The Solution

[This project was developed while I was Sr Designer at Tasty Concepts Design Studio.] Since I had already worked on the branding and the packaging, as well as the printed brochure, I had a lot of elements to work from. The process started with wireframes and a simple site map, which then evolved into design concepts. These concepts would be later sliced and sent to a developer upon client approval. The result was a website that was both interactive and informative.

Website Design

The Solution

[This project was developed while I was Sr Designer at TerpSys.] I consulted with information architects in order to produce a series of wireframes that responded to Worldwide ERC's requirements, while maintaining a dynamic layout. The design was decided upon after numerous consultations with the client in which our concepts were shaped to fulfill their needs. I also worked with developers to ensure that my design was in accordance with the limitations and guidelines of Microsoft SharePoint.

AGS Expanding Horizons Presentation

The Solution

I went with the strategy of featuring multiple accounting infographic elements such as pie charts and graphs to represent their successes in revenue, employee count, and global expansion. These were featured in the branding colors for AGS, to reinforce company recognition and solidity of their values. The video was developed in Adobe Flash and Garageband was used to generate the sound.

Allegis Group Charting the Future Presentation


Multimedia video presentation

The Solution

[This project was developed while I was Multimedia Designer at Allegis Group.] After seeing multiple presented concepts, the client chose to use different visionary historic figures, such as Christopher Columbus, Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, and Amelia Earhart, and their quotes on charting and conquering the future to parallel their own efforts and way of thinking. This creative also lead to multiple print pieces and directional elements.

The Solution

After the PBS intranet was put in place, we came up with a series of emails, highlighting its multiple features and functionalities. Each email was set up in a specific color according to the feature it illustrated, so the users would be able to associate them by visual reference, thus improving the understanding of the website. This strategy improved employee visits to the site as well as contributed to incremental communication and collaboration among internal teams.
