I am a multidisciplinary artist, designer and illustrator born in Havana. I studied fine art painting at Escuela San Alejandro, the Cuban National Academy of the Art, and graphic design at The Corcoran College of Art and Design. I have been a designer, and creative director for multiple agencies and organizations for over 15 years.
Art has always been part of my life. Growing up between Havana, and Washington DC, I live in constant dichotomy between politics and patriotism, economy and culture, religion and morality. My work reflects my everyday impressions and experiences as a Cuban-American artist caught between the politics and ideologies of the two countries in which I grew up.
I am also the founder of Tactic Pixel, a consulting agency that provides creative services, such as branding, visual strategy, and web design to multiple clients, companies, and organizations.
